The all-new “Virtual Crib” of Lisa Bouchelle has arrived! As you can see, it’s loaded with lots of goodies, including “live” greetings from Lisa, wallpaper and banners you can download, lots of studio and live photos, tour blogs, and of course, new songs and video links. We will keep it updated weekly, so check for updates on what Lisa’s up to!
Lisa’s MySpace page continues to grow, with over 27,000 “friends” at last count. That’s a great accomplishment for an indie artist. Be sure to check out the page and become a “Friend” if you haven’t already. And you can post your thoughts and comments on her page for everyone to see!
Video links are in the Multi-Media section of the site, and include Lisa singing backup for Jon Bon Jovi, as well as singing with John Popper of Blues Traveler. There is also a very touching clip of Lisa singing "Where You Are" on the "One On One" TV Show... the song is one her most requested at live shows and a very moving song for anyone who has lost a parent. Be sure to check that out to see another side of Lisa.
Lisa's New album coming in the Fall! Lisa continues to work on the new CD, working with renowned producer Ed Stasium (Mick Jagger, The Ramones, Joan Jett, Living Colour, etc.). The album is scheduled for release in the Fall, and includes many of the new songs that have become crowd favorites at live shows. The songs and recordings will feature contributions from many of her friends, including Bobby Bandiera (Bon Jovi/Southside Johnny guitarist), Glen Burtnik (formerly of Styx, now with ELO), John Popper of Blues Traveler, John Eddie, Bob Burger, and many others.
Lisa has contributed an unreleased track to the “Serve 3 – Artists Against Hunger & Poverty” benefit album. The album contains contributions from Bruce Springsteen, Joss Stone, and Avril Levigne, among others. Lisa’s song, called “Time,” is available on iTunes now. Lisa has been a big supporter of World Hunger Year, which was originally started by Harry Chapin, and which put out the album in association with the Hard Rock Café. Lisa also appears at some of the WHY events, including a recent soup kitchen event in New York, where Lisa not only sang, but joined in giving out the food!
